Well, Orlando's about 2 hours from here...and I'd drive that if I didn't have an exam Thursday morning. I'm going to need at least SOME sleep, and getting home at 4:30am ish might kill that.

Yikes. Under those circumstances, I would get home as early as possible too.

Actually, even if I had to work at 8:30am, I would probably stay out late. But not for an exam. Can't call in late for that...

I won't see it for a few days, but I did see Darth Vader this afternoon and the Emporer shopping for groceries at my local Jewel. It is good to see the forces of evil out and about in their daily chores.

I got a private screening last night and thought it was good. I'll be seeing it again on Friday.

Edit:

Have a friend who's a manager at the local theatre and he called me about 2 hours ago (Tuesday @ 7:30 PM or so)...
I'll be there about 11 PM, 25 hours before it actually opens here.

That's pretty much what I did. I feel pretty lucky too; I never usually get in on stuff like that. Pizza and Star Wars in a private screening; that's pretty hard to beat.
Of course, the energy of a good (not full of rude jerks) crowd can't be underestimated which is one of the reasons I'll be seeing it again on Friday.
