Anyone else got a Gamefly account?

I just subscribed to a service called GameZnFlix which, as you might guess, has both movies and games. The selection of neither is all that great, but their prices start at half what Gamefly wants and they have more shipping centers. I've only gotten two days so far, but I'd say the turnaround for that was about 5 or 6 days.

I've already got Netflix, so I use this one just for games, and the Wii is the only console I have (I also have a DS, but this service unfortunately doesn't stock those games). Like I said, their selection is more limited, but the Wii is so new that this isn't really an issue- they certainly have all the major titles that are available.

Interesting. Thanks, BG.

I finally got around to calling them about the game that went MIA. Phone support is only available 9am-1pm PST, and the phone number is well-hidden on the website, and I was on hold about 20 minutes, but none of this prevented the support rep from suggesting that I shouldn't have bothered with emailing them about my problem and instead should have had the good sense to call them in the first place. And unfortunately, she couldn't go ahead send me another game on my list, because that's just not how the system works.

thats crappy customer service, even if they are a new company.

Gamefly clarification

Just to clarify, by game turnaround I meant that once I send a game back it rarely takes more than a week to get a new one.

As for doing something different... I guess I must be. My experience has been fine. Bottom line is, when I weigh the fact that I'm spending $200 a year to play all the games I want against what it would cost me to buy those games it's hard to deny I'm getting a smokin deal.

As for customer service... maybe you just got a newbie or something? I'd call back and ask for a supervisor. Take it up the chain. ;)
