I'd guess the Concentration check is a casting-related thing, so a regular gunner wouldn't have to make one.

Another Gun Mage question: Are there any other substantive differences in the Gun Mage from the PDF preview? I'm guessing some IK spells might be on the spell list, maybe some new feats on the bonus feat list, and so on. Do the bonus feats happen at the same levels? Any info would be much appreciated.

Well, the Gun Mage in my campaign can only cast 1st level spells, so if you did those, post 'em! Not that I expect you to copy major blocks of info. The one thing we noted in the PDF was that although Gun Mage allows some cool stuff with Ray spells, there were not many Ray spells in their list - there aren't that many in the PHB, actually.

The book has a 50 page chapter on Cosmology and Religion. How it varies from the Monsternomicon I can't say as I don't have that book. Sorry.
