Much like Halfling/Rogue, Dragonborn/Paladin, Half-Orc/Barbarian and Deva/Invoker. It's pretty much the favored class from 3.x without actually being a favored class.
Anyone play an assassin yet?

Yes, I think they work really well together, and I think that's not an accident, too.
I have played around mostly with revenants of Eladrin origin, though, for the Assassin. I liked the idea of having one extra teleport power at my disposal. But that's probably a waste.

Have you used the extra TP much? I would think it would be effective at lower levels but, for the Assassin, would start to be much less needed over time.
