Anyone read EGG's Dangerous Journeys novels?

Has anyone read one of Gary Gygax's Dangerous Journey's novels? Oddly enough, I actually saw a couple of them on sale here in Moscow. One called Temple of Anubus or something, and another called the Samarkand Gambit or something like that.

Are they worth reading?

Can't believe I am the only person to have read them!

I read the first 2 and I sadly found them tedious and dull, unlike the Gord the Rogue books. Magister Setne & his female sidekick never interested me. I tried to sell them at a second-hand bookshop; the buyer protested "No one buys that man's books!" but I think he gave me 30p for them (half the going rate).

Hrm...

They were ok. I didn't find them spectacular, by any stretch, and they aren't on my "must read again" list, but I do know several people that enjoyed them. The only other thing I can say is that my copy has a majorly BIG font for the text. I can read this sucker across the room without my glasses. :)
