Anyone recognize this song?

Green Knight

First Post
I have no idea what the name is, and I only remember bits and pieces of it. So can anyone else identify it? Here's what I remember from it.

Nowhere to run

Nowhere to hide

I took a dance

A dance on the other side

I fell in love

She looked so sweet

(Some line I don't remember)

Hey, throw me a life line

I know you're out there

(Forgot the rest)

Anyone recognize that? If you've ever seen the USA show "Cover Me", the song was the theme music for the first season opening credits (Just the music. They didn't use the words). Thanks for the help.

Wow. I scoured the net, check the lyrics in 5 search engines, Kaaza and every tv engine I know of and nothing.

You may want to email the people at USA and ask if they could tell you.

Never seen the show. It's not Bjork's, Bruce Springsteen's, No Question's or Joe Dee Messina's "Cover Me", judging by the lyrics.

According to IMDB's full details, the music for the show was done by someone named Jon Ehrlich, who's worked with that productions house a good deal. It may be a song by him (similar to Mike Post's music throughout the 80s, for example).

Sounds like Djeta did a similar search to what I tried. Our results were the same and I think she's right, try emailing someone at USA and pray you get lucky.

Of course Green Knight you know have me curious as to who created this work. Please let us know if you ever find out and good luck.

Last night I tried Google, and was denied as well (and my Google Fu is quite up to par, as well).

I had a different thought - since the show is only a couple/few years old, doesn't anyone have it on tape? Couldn't you view the tape to get more info (or is that how you got the lyrics already?)
A TV capture could be done, and you could get the opening credits that way.

Some questions: Does the song beat "sound" current or older? Does it have a 60's kind of tone or other kind? In other words, a good description of the song's "sound" might be helpful.
