"Apart from all worlds" [d20 Past, d20 Future, Sliders, Tangents, Dimension X]

Thanks ^^ I will change that... Isis is more related to mothership and the sort, but I didn't remember which one was of the healing stuff hehe. Quick question, do you remember the name of the crocodile head god? I could use it instead of "Skin of Nilo crocodile".

I was thinking of an Egyptian culture similar to stargate. But I didn't know which weapons would be more similar to those. In this world, gunpowder was never discovered. I'm kind of lost, since I only own the d20 modern book.
Sobek for one, the most famous of those depicted as crocodile headed. Patron of Royal Army ;) . Oh and about stargate, I think PL 8 gear would be somewhat similar to those of Goa'uld stuff. Especially Sonic Beam for that hand device. http://www.dominion-x.net/d20-msrd/FutureEquipment.html just roll down to Progress Level 8 gear.

I have two concepts in mind...let me know which fits better.

I have a melee specialist who's very tough, has good stealth and scout skills.

I have a more techie sort, with skills in disable device and locks and gizmos who also happens to be a bio-electric blaster.

If either seems especially good, let me know. I'll check the skills on the characters already assembled and see if there's any gaps...

Darwin,

I noticed that the Shaman class has what might be a MAJOR error, and since D20 Past has no official errata, I'd like to know if I could errata it some.

See, shamans gain Brew Potion is a class ability at 4th level YET they do not have Craft (Chemical) as a class skill, which is kind of strange although I could see why its not a class skill.

So I'm wondering if I should treat craft( chemical) as a class skill or treat it as a cross class skill.

Blackrat: Weapon Focus (Plasma Rifle) sounds alright, the class really doesn't do anything to ranged so it's just flavor anyways. Yes, 4d6 electrical looks nuts.... can we agree on 2d6?

Arkhandus: Suggestion, how about a Shadow Slayer from a world that was just like our until shadow invaded, or better yet just one type of something invaded now the world is ravaged and losing.

Voda Vasa: yes, it's quite already if you have one item from any tech level you want.

Shayuri: I havn't really had enough to look over things to see what we really need yet. Was hoping to tomorrow.

Relique du Madde: After looking it over how about if we give you craft chemical as a class skill but it's only for use in brew potion...

Any other questions?

Thanks. 2d6 sounds more correct to me too. I'll go with that  . And so they are still called musketeers because plasma rifle in this dimension is called PPM (Phased Plasma Musket) .

I'm cool with that since I don't think it would be too shaman-like to use craft chemical to make explosives or a bottle of acid.

One question : I have no idea if there's anything like a magical weapon in modern/past D20. Anything you think appropriate will be appreciated.
