Arcane Whirlwind Question (Answered)

First Post
I asked Wizards to answer this one and I have gotten a response, so I thought I would share it with the folks on this forum.

I sent them this message:
Arcane Whirlwind lists in its Effect text,"As a minor action, you can slide one creature within the zone 2 squares." Two independent players interpreted this text in two different ways.
In the first interpretation, the player taking the minor action selects one creature in the zone then slides it 2 spaces. The creature may end up in the zone or outside of the zone after sliding.
In the second interpretation, the player taking the minor action selects one creature in the zone then slides it 2 spaces "within the zone". The creature must stay inside the zone throughout the slide and end up inside the zone.
Please set me straight on what this ability does.
Thanks!

They responded with this:
The first description is the way the power works. The line "within the zone" is the criteria for what can be targeted by the effect, not a stipulation on where the target can be slid. I hope this clarifies things for you!
