Are you buying the rule books separately or as a gift set?

Well, I was going to get them individually, because that's the same price as the gift set on amazon.co.uk. But then someone in this thread mentioned shipping, and I noticed I'd save just over a quid if I get the gift set (plus I'll get the slip-case). So gift-set it is :)

Gift-set. Same price on co.uk... but slipcase is just to shiny to pass up - especially if it's for free. And it has the same release date... :)

Cheers, LT.

Plus you save £1.16 (assuming you're paying for First class postage) ;)

I'm buying all 3 books from my FLGS. They had some good bonuses by preordering through them, plus they're doing a Midnight launch party.

However, I think that'll be the three books, and not a gift set.

For those playing the home game, so far (approximately) that is:

Set: 24
PHB only: 12

(People buying one of each were listed under both categories; and I left the amazon vs. FLGS aspect out of this tally since seeing that result may spark a conversation already being had in another thread :) )

Both. :D
I'm ordering the set from Amazon, and I'm picking up the PHB on release day at my FLGS.

So that way I get to read the most important book on day 1, and I'll end up with 2 PHBs (which I always find I need anyway).

Almost this.

I'm getting the slipcase from the FLGS and the PHB and DM screen from Amazon. And yes, the more PHBs the better.

Of course - but I've never compared the shipping costs for the individual books and the gift set... so that's completely new to me! :D

But it makes me happy!

Cheers, LT.
