Are you buying the rule books separately or as a gift set?

Ordered the gift set from Walmart.com (I've got a Walmart card with spare room; it's the only reason for selecting that vendor).

My gift set probably won't arrive until late June, so I'll probably buy the PHB at my local FLGS and then gift it to my son after my gift set arrives.

I'm buying all three at once from Amazon. I shopped aroud all of our LGSs and no one could even approach the deal I was getting online; plus, one of the stores pretty much sneered at me when I asked if they had any deals for the 4e release. I'm going to check the stores where my fiancee lives, since I like them a bit more than our local stores.

I ordered a gift set from Amazon, but I'm buying a second PHB from B&N on the day it's released so I can read it before my gift set arrives. My wife will need a PHB of her own when we're playing after all.

A gift set from amazon, a gift set from my local FLGS, and the special shiny edition PH from amazon. I like having 2 full sets to help some of the other people who are better DMs than me pick up the DMing roll now and then.

I have a June birthday, and my GM and her girlfriend pre-ordered the giftset for me from Amazon. I really only wanted the PHB since there's no chance I'll ever run a game, but they were stubborn about getting me the whole trio.

Chapters Indigo, because I get a discount. If I had more money, I'd be going to my FLGS, but I'm trying to save for school. If I could, I'd get a second PH. But at the moment, my group is going to have to buy their own or huddle.

I wonder if WotC is anticipating most of their customers are going to be buying 2 each...
