It's impossible toi tell. Right now all we have is speculation about what they will change. Until they release some facts, I find it solves nothing to guess.

i said yes, but really its only yes to the PHB (since mine is falling apart) and even then probably only if its really good.

but if there's useful info in them, then maybe all three.

i'd buy a new PHB simply for skill updates myself.

Absolutely. Mostly this comes from the fact that all that I own are the core books. I don't own any of the splats. Well, I did just purchase the MMII. I'd like to have all my errata, enhancements and clarifications in the same place.

I answered no. Although I might ultimately have to buy new books, my copies tend to last a long time. They are in no need of replacement right now. Furthermore, being a student, I definitely do not have the CDN$130 to spend on gaming books I already own.

Maybe a few years down the line...

They're revising the Core Rulebooks, to be released in August. Apparently they will incorporate all the errata, tweak some stuff like classes, and rewrite some rules for clarity. Apparently this also heralds the end times, judging by reaction...

Maybe. It depends if the majority of the 25% revised/new material is stuff that hasn't been in print before. I'm not that keen to buy if the 25% is mostly stuff from the eratta and splat-books.
