I'll pop round to the local store that is running the event (not the FLGS I usually frequent) to see what's going on, but I doubt I'll actually get involved. The crowd there seems a bit insular from what I've seen.

I'm still hoping to complete writing an adventure for WWDDGD that I'll post here (it's annoyingly close to finished, but not quite there yet). It's possible someone might run it. That counts as participation, right?

There's no FLGS in my area doing anything with the WotC provided stuff, but I will be "celebrating" with my own D&D adventure at a local convention that weekend.

The WotC site lists a store in Knoxville called Dubious, Inc. running it.

We always do our own thing.

Sometimes, on catering to a whim, that means following some worldwide (or local) trend, like this one.

So I'll run something to honour D&D day or whatever. A one-shot, maybe. Something fairly unprepared, it would seem.

Perhaps something as a tribute to Dragon (R.I.P.) and Dungeon (R.I.P.) magazines. Though that might be better at the appropriate anniversary, next year and onwards.

I'll be around the local game store of my area (ManaWerx in Phoenix AZ) on November 3rd to run or play D&D, assuming enough other people show up for the games.

Didn't see anyone else around besides my own group on Free RPG Day, but maybe there'll be a bigger turnout for the Worldwide D&D Gameday. If nothing else we'll just run our usual game if no one else is around, since the 3rd is a Saturday, and that's one of the two days we already have a campaign going.

I want to participate. It depends on whether there are enough tables and open seats at the FLGSs in the area to fit all of us gamers in that will really decide if that happens or not. I still need to find out when the festivities start locally.
