Armor enchantment hvy->med, med->lt?

I've been looking on forums trying to find such a thing, but maybe nobody has had much use for it so it hasn't been discussed. I'm wondering if there's an armor enchantment that reduces armor from heavy to medium or medium to light, like mithral does. I'm hoping to drop whatever armor to light so I can use Armored Mage to wear it with no ASF. I don't want to dip into other classes, as I've already had to tone-down my build at the request of other players that my build make roleplay sense. But as a result, I lost 6 lvl-4 AC that was going to scale really well as I leveled. Now my options are to figure out some good light armor, or use the psychoactive skin "ectoplasmic armor," which my DM has said would have to cost a lot more than the given price.

Advice?

The Halfweight armor enchantment (+3) from Drow of Underdark makes any armor count as light.

I may be misremembering some things, though.

Actually in the FR book: Underdark, pg 70

As mentioned +3 bonus, considered light in all but AC bonus, 1/2 normal weight.

Battlecaster feat from Complete Arcane allows you to wear armor 1 category heavier than you can normally wear and still not suffer any ASF.

You still need to be proficient with the armor and the feat doesn't say you can take it multiple times but most DMs will probably allow a house-rule for that.

So if you can lower the weight of the armor via some other means (ala mithral) then you can take the feat to better it - might be cheaper if you have the feats to burn..

Twilight armor enchantement lower ASF by 10% cost +1 bonus I think (PHB II an BoED).
Making an armor counting as light doesn't augment the max deterity and lower the penalties?
Better get a Halfweight Twilight Mithral full plate.
