At Will Retraining

Pardon my ignorance but this is something that popped into my head & won't go away. Add in the fact I don't have my book with me... You get the picture. So if I multiclass into another class, can I retrain one of my existing at wills from my main class to one of the multiclass ones?
Thanks

You can only retrain powers for another power of the same class and level (or lower level).

However, if you take the prestige multiclassing option at level 11 (instead of a prestige path), you can exchange one of your main class at-will powers for a multiclass at-will power.

Paragon multiclassing is the only way to get an At-Will from another class. (As an At-Will that is. There are always Half-Elves.)

Your at wills represent your core competencies, and must be from your main class, unless you go with paragon multiclassing. 4e is intended to be a largely single-class system, and to be a "true" multiclass character (that is, a character with core competencies in two different classes), you need to do it paragon-style.

The argument for paragon-multiclassing is that the added versatility you gain from your second class's powers makes up for the 11,11,16 bonuses you lose and the fact that the powers you gain are slightly lower level than those you would have normally. I have no problem with this option, but it does not appeal to everyone's tastes.

As to the human question, I would say no. If you wanted two of your 3 at-wills to be from a different class than your main class, then you should select that class as your main class and multiclass into your original class.

Out of curiosity (and somewhat off topic), was the issue of retraining your Basic Attack(s) (note: at-will abilities!) to class at-wills ever resolved?

Not that it was a good idea, mind, and the idea of someone fundamentally unable to throw a punch is absurd, but the whole concept amused me greatly.

I don't follow.
