[August] What are you playing?

Didn't get much playing in July, so I'm still continuing through Phantasy Star II (GBA remake).

Also goofed around with the PS3 demos - mostly Gran Turismo HD and a little bit of Heavenly Sword.

I broke out Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura about a week ago from my pile of old stuff. I'd had problems with it being buggy originally, so I never made it terribly far in. Managing to get past those issues has kept me drooling for more screentime with my computer for the past ten days.

Just got Overlord... it's a riot, and an atrocity, and many other bad things that are so much fun!!!

Killing unicorns, and halflings, throwing fireballs at peasants and stealing their food, I just love it.

Just started a new NWN campaign, and am finishing up a second. Single-player, I'm making my way through the Cybran campaign in Supreme Commander, and I'm still playing the occasional custom map in Company of Heroes, waiting for the expansion pack this fall.

On the 360, it's pretty much been Guitar Hero 2, all the time. I've completed the moderate difficulty level and am now just trying to bring up some of my 3-star performances. Hard is just too... hard (my fingers just can't seem to adapt to that fifth fret button).

Just picked up Titan Quest and the expansion. It is Diablo II set in ancient Greece. Not like Diablo II, it is Diablo II. Some minor improvements and gameplay changes (new classes/powers mostly), but I liked Diablo II so this has been OK.

Ooooh. I may have look into that!

I'm playing half-life two before I start on episode one. I've got fallout two and diablo two games stored up, ready to play if the mood strikes me. I really want to look out for more games though, either buy new FPS, break out my old RPGS or borrow something like Knights of the old republic from a friend (I think it's that game)

I'm only about 1/3 of the way through, but it's pretty good. It has some pretty hefty system requirements, tho. Pick up the expansion at the same time, it makes some good improvements over the original. I got both for $30 on Steam.

I'm also replaying KOTOR (and will then play KOTOR2 for the first time), for the same reasons as drothgery.

Finished KotOR on Thursday. I think I've decided a Jedi Sentinel build is about the toughest way to make it through the game in a lot of ways; you don't have the hit points to slag it out with a lot of enemies, and you don't have the force points to (or bonuses to force power DCs) to get in extended Force Power duels. Which is a real problem when you can't set things up in advance -- and why Bastilla gave me more trouble than Malak did. He's a lot tougher in a straight-up fight, but you can set up a minefield in advance (I think if I'd had more 'deadly' mines I'd've been able to avoid crossing lightsabers with him at all), and his saves aren't as good as hers.
