Ya. I was having trouble with the boards last night; silly triple posts :)

For what it's worth, I too used Milsims.

Olive,
had they sold out of E-Tools by then?

You could of got that as well for $5.

Mind Games was good though. I got all three and E-Tools for $140
They are a bit annoyed with The Dungeon though. they started selling them as soon as they recieved them AND were price hiking in the process ($55 per book).

regards,
Arawyn

I don't bother with The Dungeon anymore. They are generally unhelpful, and the owner (or was the owner a couple of years ago) was a real a$$.

Crap. How the eff did I miss that there's been a gaming shop on Clarence St all this time? How long have Critical Miss been around?

Hi from Critical Gaming

Hi guys,

A mate informed me about this site so thought I would sign up and let you know a little bit about Critical Gaming.

First off we really only opened last week (well the online part did the shop should be totally finished by Tuesday) and are situated in an office building (I own an IT Consultant business too and have converted part of the office into the shop). We intend to go to a proper shopfront though with gaming rooms and lots of stock. We do have a shopfront but it is quite small at this stage along with an online presence.

The business has been started by myself and 2 other guys. We have been gaming for 15 years and basically got sick of the customer service by certain other gaming stores in the city. We are intending to try and create a great aussie gaming community. We will let the various RPG Conventions advertise for free on our site like we are currently doing for Nerconomicon.

So Hong I hope we turn into a Critical Hit rather then a Critical Miss. :)

Guys if you want to give us some feedback on our website that would be great as it is not totally finished and I am not totally happy with colour scheme at this stage.

Finally, I am really passionate about customer service as I believe both the IT world and RPG retail world are severly lacking in this area so I am setting out to change that. I might be one person but hey you have to start somewhere. :)

Thanks all,
Christian

P.S. Enworld looks great. This what I hope Critical Gaming will become one day.

Er, exactly where in Brisbane?

Online Games Centre
Waterworks Road
Ashgrove

The AUD45 is for buying 10 or more copies, IIRC. They're good people there and they are generally cheaper than the shops in the city. They also host D&D games at night if you're ever looking for a game (I DM on Monday nights).

Cheers
D

Perhaps... btu I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

Really? Howcome all three and LGG cost me $152 then?

Well I'm glad I saved some money, and supported the better shop. Also glad I didn't knowas I probably would have gone down and bought them there!

uh, hi. I'm new here. this topic caught my eye as I live in Sydney. I had a look at the site - not bad. :)

Critical - do you deliver outside the city? That would solve Hygric's problem?

Also, what is E-Tools? thanks

The official character generator program. Generally considered not worth the money.
