Auto-Quicken Spell + Multispell + Time Stop + Wish = Cheese (Time Stop+Wish Argument)

So...let me get this straight. If an epic spellcaster takes the Auto-Quicken Spell feat 3 times, and the Multispell feat 5 times...the caster can effectively cast 7 spells per round. Top that off with a dash of Time Stop, and this guy can theoretically cast ALL of his spells in a single round, and then some... Here's how it would work: He casts 6 spells of any kind, casting the last spell as a Time Stop. Assuming a 4 is rolled, he can spend 5 rounds in the Time Stop. Casts 35 spells, and then another time stop. This allows him more time to cast his spells while still in a time pocket. When he is finally out of spells, save for 1 lvl 9 spell, he casts wish and wishes that he be affected in a manner that treats him as having re-memorized his spells, putting him back at his full spells per day. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So, in theory, a mage with this feat setup could continue casting spells as long as he was still concious, at some point choosing to end the time stop, releasing hundreds, even thousands of spells in a single instant.(or any mage with time stop and wish, as well, but this setup allows more spells to be cast in a shorter amount of time, i.e. more cheese)

Someone PLEASE point out some technicality that would prove this wrong, or else magery just became the one and only choice for Munchkins.:(

Won't work in 3.5, in any case. That any consolation?

Would the entire concept not work, or just some parts? Is WotC ruling that you can't cast a time stop while in a time stop?

In any case, I only plan on adopting parts of 3.5 that suit my tastes, which is very little from what I've seen of it so far.

Well, while that is a mean combination, it would take many, many epic levels to do...and plus, I don't think that's a valid wish effect-after all, the Book of Vile Darkness Asmodeus has a re-memorization ability that can only be used 1x/day from his Rod of Nessus-which is a greater artifact in its own right.

If you want to mantain Timestop in your campaign without it getting too overpowered, I suggest either automatically making it last either 2 or 3 rounds and/or not allowing any other time spells (i.e.-Haste) to function while under its influence.

MY PLAYERS STAY BACK!!! BACK I SAYY!!!!!!!

Well I bring this up because an NPC IMC is a 45th lvl wizard/cleric type, with a robe that grants her 3 slots in Auto-Quicken Spell. There will be wars in the future of the campaign, and she'd probably be very involved. I'm basically trying to figure out wether or not she'd be able to do something like this, since it would make winning battles WAY too easy, since it's like giving a mage Infinite Ammo and Rapid Fire.

Uh, far as I know (and was informed in the How Many Spells Per Round Max thread) you can only cast 1 quickened spell per round.

That's what the Multispell feat is for: it allows you to to one more Quickened Spell per round. It's an epic feat.

Clearly to strong for wish, so it will go wrong: he will indeed be affected in a manner that treats him as having re-memorized his spells: He will fall asleep for 8 hours and than be under the compulsion to prepare his spells for the day. I think that in the meantime, even a commoner 1 can kill him, for he won't be able to snap out of his sleep or spell preparing (no save, no SR, no nothing).

Impale him on a large spike in your front yard as a warning to other munchkins, right near the letter box.

(and its reputed to keep away marauding turkish armies too.)
