Avenger Power: Oath of the Final Duel Questions

One of my rules is "If it adds to the overall coolness of the game (and doesn't screw any other player over) it works."

So: yes, I would let you try this. It should be a truly memorable fight!

If the enemy is a recurring villain that is intended to battle the PC's several times, I'd manipulate the situation to make it very disadvantageous to use this power. Such villains would normally be much more powerful than a single PC, and if the PC uses the teleport ability repeatedly he will leave himself wide open to be left bleeding and unconscious on the rocks far from the party. Oh yes, my villains would flee sooner, like when first bloodied, so a couple lucky shots by the Avenger wouldn't take him out.

I wouldn't care as much if it's a fleeing monster of no importance. The PC's free to teleport and whack that monster for as long as he can take the consequences.

That's right. Invisible creatures need to keep quiet and still, or they'll lose any hidden status they may have gained and everyone will know what square they're in.
No, they just need to make a stealth check when they move. And lets face it, why would they not? I didn't mention the case where the character knows where they are, because in that case invisibility won't have any effect past applying a -5.

.

This is, in fact, exactly what happened.

Actually, I am one of the players. I did say MY avenger. :p
The name (avatar and sig) is a Sluggyfreelance (is it not Nifty?) reference.
I don't know; you seem pretty evil. Even though you live in Seattle, it's obvious you're not drinking enough coffee. LStudies show a lack of caffeine makes people more evil.
