Hello,

I just wanted to say I ordered Dungeoneer from a link on the Citizen Games website that brought me to Warehouse 23. I then went the the checkout process at Warehouse 23, and recieved my shipment within about 4 days (which is excellent because I am in Canada). It was packed great also.

Just wanted to share this. :)
Shawn

I do believe there was some discussion about this post back in April, well it's now June, still only one post.

Well, I haven't got much time at the moment, but I see this thread has been brought back from the dead. Hate to sound like a parrot, but my situation hasn't changed any either. Immediately after making the initial posts, Rob Stone fired off an email promising the sun, the moon, the stars. End result, nichts. I independantly contacted Warehouse23 (very friendly people) and they have the product to ship. Looks like I've been 'Stoned' again. More later, must schlep off to work...

There has been some changes in management at Citizen Games recently. The former person in charge of CG has left the company so the d20guru@citizengames.com email is no longer valid. Rob Stone is now president of CG. All emails should be sent to him directly at stoney@citizengames.com for inquiries or complaints. Rob does have the tendency to promise things and never follow up, so it will likely take more than one email to get results. It is unfortunate, but that's how things appear to work there. I host their forums on my site and I have a heck of a time getting them to respond there even... :(

I, for one, am glad for the update, sorry to hear that you've apparently been screwed, and am glad to have one company on my list of 'don't-buy-froms' before I get the bendover treatment myself.

For shame- they promised to ship within four days, then blatantly broke their promise!

And shame on them for making up that tiredminded account- I really doubt it's anything but more fishin' line to string people along with.

Well, according to www.Ogrecave.com, Rob Stone was removed as president as of June 8 (same day their site got "hacked" Hmmm...) and the interim president is Scott Bagley.

So how do you have different information?

Yet another online house with which I won't be doing any business. Nor will I buy their products through any other outlet.
I encourage others to do the same.

My information comes from before June 8. I wasn't aware of Rob's departure. I will be talking to whomever is representing Citizen at Origins so I will have a better idea what is going on. I would suggest that anyone who does have a complaint with them and is going to be at Origins or GenCon, use that opportunity to talk to them about it.

EDIT: spelling

Hmmmm . . . a poster decides to air his concerns about a company and other posters agree with him.

Then, 'Shawn' comes along, registers and posts a positive reply.

Could it be that perhaps . . . . we'll never see another post by 'Shawn' again?

*SMACK* Bad Gfunk! Don't be so cynical! ;)

Well, as of now, being two months later, Shawn still has only one post to his name ...

Since Citizen Games now deals through Warehouse 23, the two would-be customers might want to try it to see if anyone there knows how to reach Citizen. The guys at W23 ship, and dealing with just about anyone at SJG is a good experience.

As I stated earlier, I have actually been in touch with Warehouse 23. W23 and SJG are awesome; no complaints there. It is not, however, W23's job to take care of Citizen Games unfinished business. I am resigned to the fact that I will never see either my MasterScreen or my $25 again. I am past this. Now, I wish only to warn as many people as possible that CG is a bad egg. I am not surprised in the least to see them struggling to keep upper management in place; there business practices range from imprudent to downright idiotic.

Sakzilla and myself have both taken great pains to do this 'by the book.' I have run out of contacts, and I'm sick of being ignored. How f'n stupid must this company be? They've had every opportunity to clean up this mess. After months of complaints, I don't hear a word from them until they get dragged out in a public forum. Check the posts, folks. Just how long did it take for them to jump to their own defense? I find it unbelievably insulting that I can't get them to look at an email unless I resort to this.

So here we are, some two months later, and nothing has changed. Cockroaches have greater sense of self preservation. What would it have taken to shut me up? One f'n MasterScreen. But I am pleased to see this thing has taken a life of it's own. More people than I expected have sat up and taken notice.

Pass on the news: CITIZEN GAMES IS AN UNRELIABLE THIEVES' DEN. Save yourself the money and aggravation; spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

hrafnagud, look back over this thread. There was a fellow from Kenzer & Co. who wanted you to contact him, and I suspect it could be good news :)
