Arcane lock only works on a "door, chest, or portal" (PHB p. 176), and thus not a locked gauntlet.

When you have both hands free to disarm, you disarm as the size creature you are. Thus, if that monk isn't carrying anything in his off hand, he disarms as a medium weapon.

Yeah, right... but still it's only a medium sized weapon... with monk BAB. These loooong disarming sticks sound better.
