The thorn moves near the ricefield; shields against the chaos of the water! *yen*

Azure falls back after being bit by the rat. She mutters a word and bits of thorns appear and fly at the rat!

The rat manages to evade most of the thorns, much to Azure's peril. It gets in close and lays into her with several viscious bites which bring her down quickly. After she stops moving for a minute, the rat leaves her alone for long enough that she crawls away accross the rickety bridge and back to the ladder entrance into the sewer. With the last of her strength, she manages to pull herself up the ladder and into the alley. She will have to return after recovering her strength. On the bright side, she did get 1 Exp for destroying the skeleton.

Assuming you want to go right back at it, I'll have to post a new Masters dictate if you do. Let me know when she's ready.

After recovering from the bites and getting her strength back, Azure will go back and try it again. She goes back down the sewer and back to the sewer next to where she was if there are no problems.

The ancient masters have decreed this match to take place at the dungeon south of the Iron City on the evening of the cherry blossum.

Azure reenters the sewers and stands again at the first ladder with tunnels going north, east, and south from here.

Once again, Azure will head north. She'll keep her eyes out for rats and traps.

No traps are visable, and no rats either as she reaches the pump room where the sewage flow begins.

Azure will enter the room with the bridge...and after making sure everything is safe she'll cross it if she faces no opposition.

As you enter the room, you see the room as you remember it from before. The bones are mostly scattered on the floor still, but a few have been dragged back into a small pile where they were before. Dragging one leg bone currently is the giant rat from before as well. Hearing you, it turns and hisses at you before scittering across the bridge to attack you!
