The rat drops lifeless after Azure kicks it hard into the wall. She gains 1 Exp for defeating the rat. Just as she thinks it's safe though, another giant rat come screeching at her from the arched doorway leading out of the room.

Azure summons a cold blast to her hands and throws it at the rat!

As the second giant rat is flash frozen into a block of ice, it slides across the floor and hits the wall, shattering into pieces. Azure gains 1 Exp and 1 Yen for defeating this threat.

The bridge of debris stands before her as she eyes the arched doorway on the eastern wall which appears to be the only exit from the room.

There is no door, just an arched doorway. The tunnel leads to the east for 25 feet or so before Azure comes to a 5 foot niche on the northern wall. The tunnel also continues to the east out of sight. Bolted to the northern wall of the niche is a ladder leading upward through a hole in the ceiling. Beside the ladder is the faint scrawl of a guild sign.

Azure will climb up the ladder and take a look around the room she enters into.

Azure climbs upward 15-20 feet before emerging into a small cramped room 5 by 10 feet wide. There appears to be a door handle of some sort on the wall to the east, although the door seems strange. It is smaller than normal, only 3 feet high and 2 feet wide. A low rythmic sound can be heard coming through the small door, but from how quiet it sounds, you would guess that it's a little distant from the door itself.

Is there anything in the room? Which way does the door open? Can Azure make out what the sound is?

There is nothing else in the room and the door appears to open outward. The sound is faint, but it could be someone shoveling something up and dumping it into something.
