BAB stacking with multiclass?

BAB bonuses stacking/adding... I'm sure this must be written somewhere in the rules, but all I could find was:

"Base Attack Bonus: Add the base attack bonuses acquired for each class to get the character’s base attack bonus. A resulting value of +6 or higher provides the character with multiple attacks."

So what would happen for example in the case of someone with 2 classes, the first giving say +14/+9/+4, and the second giving +7/+2 ?

They stack. You add them together. Mind you, this would be an epic character. YOu can't have more than 4 attacks in a round due to BAB.

It'd be:
+21/+16/+11/+6

Since you get an extra attack at 11 and 16.

I'm sure not sure how it stacks... I guess I add the 7 to the 14 to get the 21, but how did you get the rest? Where does the +2 go?

Stack the actual BAB - i.e., the first number. E.g., 14 + 7 = 21 in your case. This is your BAB.

Then figure out the second, third, and fourth attack from there. The second attack is 5 points lower than the first, the third is 5 points lower than the second, and the fourth is 5 points lower than the third. (If one of these attacks would be <+1, you don't have that attack yet.)

Or just get the BAB (see above) and compare it to the Fighter BAB table.

General Rule:
It's all based on the first number. The iterative attacks (2nd, 3rd, etc) are all -5. So, you add the first numbers and you get +21. Then you -5 and get 16. -5 again, get 11. -5 again, get 6.

You could -5 again, but you only get up to 4 attacks. And if you -5 and get 0 or a negative number, you don't get an attack.

The +2 is just because the first number is a 7.

Yeah, that's the easy way to do it. :uhoh:

It changes when you go Epic though, ie: go higher than that table.
