((Ring - I think she's trying to imply that the father of her child is dead... however, she is not outright saying it, which is why I asked about the Sense Motive))

Understanding floods her suspicious eyes. "I see. That is too bad. Trust that I understand your child's situation as I had no father as a child. It is only in this Circle of friends that I found a family."

Her eyes narrow, once more. "His duty has taken him away from me, and we cannot wed. But my child and I will be loved from afar."

Looking confused, and not catching all the undercurrents, "So he remains in the North? He was.. given to the light there?"

Justice is wearing her ring.

I've got a pretty good idea for a qualified Nursemaid... Justice knows, from her experience at Jade Forest, that every so often, one of the students finds herself in the Queen's Predicament.

Justice would happily travel back to the acad. if requested to see if any of the students happens to be in that situation... it could also serve as a diplomatic mission to attempt to win the support (if only verbal) of our cause.

Secondly, if we find a non-skilled common woman to serve as the Nursemaid Justice can also call in a favor from Tara. She is a skilled Ninja that would be more than capable of protecting not only the child, but the woman generous enough to care for the child.

With a smile and raised brow toward Xath L'Aurel through the rings, "Ask more pointed questions. Where she either has to lie or give us a real answer. She just seems distraught to me, and who would not be under these conditions."

"He sounds like a kind and noble man, Lady Goldenblade. It must have been quite the weighty duty that would take him away from such a lovely woman. I've been a bit out of practice as of late, but as a student of the word, such tales fascinate me. I hope this is not to foreward of me," Xath blushes shyly. "but perhaps we may send for tea and discuss it at length. I seem to have an unexpected bit of time and I would very much like to hear your tale. Please, stay and speak with us."
