William bounces around, enjoying the crazy ride, and consciously fighting the urge to vomit.

Looking on his new phone, William quickly figures out how to get to the net and starts looking for information conscerning the Yankees and a curse.

Elyssa is grateful for the seat-belt, knowing full well that it was the only thing keeping her from flying out of the window. Well that and the vulcan nerve-pinch aka death-grip she has on the panic bar. Please... Don't make me loose control! Please!

She closes her eyes as a particularly wild turn makes her loose her grip, bouncing her against the seat. She makes a grab for the panic bar again as the car alarms of several cars they pass spontaneously go off.

Oh boy.....

The radio switches to Carmen.

 

[DEFCON 1]

'Hah ha!' exclaims Xander as the hummer shoots back and forth, having a grand old time in the turret. 'Out of the way!' screams Dan as he dives for the window.

**SPLOOOOOSHHH!!!**

'MEIN WORT!' shouts Xander, as Dan's "problems"...

...allow him to make his discharge out the window, but unfortunately it catches the breeze and shoots up and across the turret. Gross. Very gross. ((Xander & Dan both lose 1 Brownie Point)).

William is able to keep his lunch down okay, Sara and Gina are both looking a little queezy and we'll see shortly what happens with them, and Elyssa...

... is able to hold down her lunch for the most part, however her concentration on holding her stomach is enough to make any chance at recalling any information pertinent to the case an impossibilty.

For the others, various bits and pieces of info start coming to them, and will be finalized in their heads as soon as Sara and Gina finish up with their sickness.

OOC: To save time/space... from now on I'm only going to post the Ghost die checks that results in a Ghost appearing. For checks where you roll a 6 but I find that it does not end up being the Ghost die, I'll just keep writing as if nothing happened.

Dan breathes a sigh of relief at having made the window ... until he hears the brawny Xander's explanation. Looking up, he winces.

"Oh, man, Xander, I am so sorry, man, I--"

Just then the radio changes, and Dan zips back inside, eyes alight as he exclaims "Omigod, Carmen!" Completely oblivious of the queasiness his teammates may also be fighting, and apparently having forgotten the ... decorated immigrant on the roof, Dan bursts into song and starts belting along with the opera.

Elyssa winces and makes a face as she realizes what has happened to Xander. "Ewww." she muttered to herself and scrunches up in her seat as Carmen begins to play. Outside, the Ecto mobile is leaving a stream of howling car alarms in its wake. On both sides of the street.

Xander pauses, stock still in the turret, a look of utter disgust on his... occluded face. He raises a hand to wipe it off only to drop it again deciding it's better not to have it all over his hands. "Does anybody have a hankie?" he asks, almost to low to hear. "Well, I hope we get to do our laundry for free..."

OOC:As an aside, how'd I do on the Sports Knowledge check? Anything come to Xander?

The traffic through New York City is especially heavy this afternoon, but this hasn't stopped Sara from driving like a maniac. You get the suspicion that she might have drove a cab as a way to put herself through college. What this truly means is that when Elyssa, Dan, Gina or Sara try to go over in their minds the information they've laready been given... nothing comes to mind. No connections are made.

William, however, goes to town on his cellphone... checking all kinds of websites, googling all the terms that they know, and the smile on his face tells the others that not only is his stomach all right, but apparently he's having some success.

Dylan Wayne is one of the Operations Managers for the Yankees organization. 38 years old, married, Masters in Business from NYU. Is referenced a number of times of not having a sense of humor. Will probably nickel and dime you to death as well.

Most popular search topic which includes the terms "Curse" and "Yankees" yields the "Curse of the Bambino"... a long-held belief that the Boston Red Sox organization would never win a World Series because they traded away Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in the early 1900's. The "Curse" was recently broken when the Red Sox won the Series last year.

No mentions of supernatural activity at the stadium within the past few years within the normal press. Sara's electronic guide might have more specific info in that regard.

Xander meanwhile, in and amongst the cleaning off of Dan's protein spill, also has a revelation (although you can't tell because he's outside and on the roof).

You have also heard many stories about people from New England dying heartbroken because they never got to see their beloved Red Sox win the World Series before they died. The Ecto-27 screams up the street and approaches Yankee Stadium. Sara begins driving around the building, looking for a place to park the vehicle. Finally she sees a gate in front of which stands a man wearing a guard's uniform.
