Song of Sialia:
Wooly Mammoths storm the land,
Deafening, their Flight,
The Culmination of a war,
We all lost in the night!
In Hubris Sialia, seeking a Rebirth,
Invoked Devastation and Immolated Earth!
The motive Transparency leads us to recall...
Rains of Fire, Colorless, may well cleanse us all!
(Y'hafta know a little History of The World of Grayhawk to get this one...)

Oh the joy to be a paladin
Oh the joy to be a paladin
To fill the world with good
Not an ounce of hubris -
I'll clean your neighborhood
Of vermin and scum
Of monsters vile and foul,
Striding boldly I come
To make them cowl,
Mammoths with wool
I cleave with might,
And immolate a ghoul,
Even dragons take flight -
For a knight's in town
And evil he beats,
Let sunshine abound
To show my brave feats,
Transparent and honest
I tithe half their treasure
Let all know and attest
This good man's measure:
A man of good girth
A maiden's rebirth,
A Lawful Good culmination
Send forth the proclamation!

You guys rock my world, and I can honestly say that this year's compilation of bad poetry is as fine as any year I have ever done this. And I've been celebrating my birthday with bad verse for about 15 years now.
Y'all can take that any way you like. It is a joy to be serenaded by friends.

I know this is gone and past, but I wanted to toss something badly haiku-ish this way.
Light's transparency
immolation of false words
lies do not amuse
...
hubris does not make
a man larger than his deeds.
rebirth, his last hope
...
And a couple in honor of our groups main GM, OldDrewId of the Medallions Story Hour, who was married in a wonderful ceremony this past Saturday...

priest's words only make me muse:
will zombies strike soon?
...
Drew's gotten married.
Maybe now he will update.
Medallions goes on.
