Like damn, that's brutal slam, not just against the DADHAT, but there have been at least one or two Transformer movies, at least 1 GI Joe movie in that time period, maybe more. Like just damn.

Nothing has been announced about the exact size of the BG3 budget, other than that it's "AAA" sized. I believe there's been 3-4 studios that have been working on the game concurrently, so it's definitely a big production.

Not surprised. It seems quite good so far, and much (much!) improved from the Early Access.

I'm beginning to accept that I was perhaps, potentially, wrong about the game's potential.

Last year gaming took in 180 billion. That a hit game makes more than a hit movie should be expected.
