D&D Movie/TV Baldur’s Gate 3 will earn more than 10 years of films, says Hasbro

Computer gaming takes in more money each year than every American sport, every movie and every concert series -- combined.

Last year gaming took in 180 billion. That a hit game makes more than a hit movie should be expected.

Taking this a step further.
Last year 14 video games took in more revenue than the number one movie (Top Gun Maverick). Four of them doubled it or more.
At least 25 made more than the #2 movie.

Putting this forward as an Honor Among Thieves versus Baldur's Gate 3 situation is ignoring the dramatically different industries.

Okay they just got $500,000,000 plus the $500,000,000 they got for selling the music part, and say $500,000,000 each for peppa pig and pjmasks, and maybe even a billion to retain their part of the ownership of Transformers, Gem, GI Joe, D&D, Ouji Board, etc..., movies as well, that still leaves a loss of a Billion dollars.

Actually, thata big part of what lay behind Tasha's Vauldron of Everything: the process of hashing out the digitization of 5E for Early Access was what spurred a lot of the Class options there.

You are severely undervaluing both Pepa Pig and PJ Masks there.
