Yeah, I was pondering on domains and am not sure what to go for, since the lizardman god in this setting is not Semuanya (though it's another True Neutral god so probably pretty similar). Travel would certainly work well - any suggestions for the other? Would Strength be good? (Can you even use the Strength domain ability in combat when in a rage?)

Strenght only lasts one round... I'm not that familiar with the domains, but my clerics have Chaos and Protection additionally to travel.

Have you thought about Obad-Hai. You could chose the Animal Domain and the Domain of your favorite element. You would gain knowledge nature and could cast animal friendship to get an animal companion.

Don't think Obad-Hai exists in the campaign world.

But the Animal domain might be rather good, because it gives that animal companion through animal friendship doesn't it? So... Animal and maybe Travel as domains might work quite well...

What're the prereq's for the templar PrC?

well I just so happen to have the book in front me due to another post of mine... the req's are:

BAB +5
knowledge (religion) 8 ranks
feats: endurance, weapon focus (diety's favored weapon)

I'm playing a BBn1/Clr9 right now, and having a lot of fun. Str. and Luck domains (cleric of Kord - seemed a natch). It's annoying to be a caster level behind, but I can enlarge (from str domain), plus the cleric buffs, and do well most of the time, rage when I have to (which isn't much), and rally knock down some foes. In this campaign, I can use the uber-broken persistent spell. Woot!

I don't think an even level split would be as powerful. I'd go either cleric3/bbnx, or bbn1/clericx. Losing caster levels really sucks.

If you are going for just 1 or 3 Cleric levels, it is hard to top the Luck and Travel domains.
