Not on topic, but I got shipping for 7 books from FFG for $11. Just don't do air or priority or anything -- basic "it arrives when it arrives" ground.

I wanted to buy oodles of stuff from Bastion, but I have everything already!

Steve's pretty much explained the shipping thing, but I'll go into a bit more detail for those of you that want to know.

I've always had free shipping at the Bastion store as an option, since we charge full retail price most of the time so as not to compete (anger) our favorite local gaming stores. When we get paid full retail, I'm more than happy to absorb some (or all) of the shipping costs, depending on how fast you want your books.

Our warehouse ships everything via UPS, and the cheapest rates we've been charged is around $6 per shipment (depending on the zone). So, after about the 7th person ordered a single copy of the book, I saw that we had a serious problem in the shipping costs.

I've changed the shipping options to reflect what we actually get charged to ship the books (more or less). They're not shipped media mail now, so they'll get to you faster.

After the sale, we'll change the options back... but the prices will go up. ;-)

FWIW I received my order yesterday with absolutely no problems.

Now you need to get back to work and get out some new product so I can make up for the loss you took with the cheaper shipping.

I ordered Wednesday and have not seen a ship notification. I assume there will not be one. What sort of turn around time are people seeing? If it matters, I'm near Atlanta, GA.

Well i got my books yesterday. Great stuff! The Airships book is flat out gorgeous.
I'm only half-way through Doomstriders, but i can already tell you that it is terrific and will see action in my game. Sweet.
