Beards on dwarven women, yes or no?

I would say yes and no. Personally I would use it as dwarven women with beards are from the royal or noble families and so are more socially attractive than the more common beardless female dwarves.

Definitely. One of the primary aspects of dwarven courtship is discovering your mining companion's gender below the layers of hair and chainmail (thanks to Pratchett ).

Besides...there are dwarven WOMEN? I thought there were just male dwarves and they sprouted up from the ground.

Dwarven women can only have beards if elven men cannot have them.

I like to balance those two out.

in the Original D&D (1974) booklets, elven men had beards too.
