i mean, it's styled like one, but i just assumed that was because of the program or site @dorgajohn was using. but there's definitely ways to tell it isn't - the maneuver DC, legendary resistances having other effects on the creature when spent, fatigue and strife as conditions shax is immune from, the rare variant of arcane sword...though now that i'm home and can check my copy, his damage seems very high for a CR 28 (he can get to nearly 300 dpr when you include legendary actions!).That's an O5E stat block.
I honestly was just converting it from tbe originak oathfinder ability but I think i can change it up to a set number instead of stacking. The original wording is kinda confusing too xDlooks pretty neat. i have a few comments:
1. im not entirely sure how the aura stacking works. as in, why would the necrotic damage stack to begin with?
2. i REALLY like that burning legendary resistances reduces his legendary actions too. that's a really neat way to balance out him having so many of both.
3. i feel like command blood would be more thematic if it only worked on bloodied creatures or creatures suffering from ongoing damage but had no save to resist it. but maybe that's just me.
i don't know what shax is like in the original module, but i think you did a pretty good job. looks like he'd make for a fun fight.
It's just the program i use, i tried my best ti make it look like an A5E statblock xPThat's an O5E stat block.
You make a good point! I think I'll lower the damage, maybe from 3d10 extra necrotic to 3d6 for his daggersi mean, it's styled like one, but i just assumed that was because of the program or site @dorgajohn was using. but there's definitely ways to tell it isn't - the maneuver DC, legendary resistances having other effects on the creature when spent, fatigue and strife as conditions shax is immune from, the rare variant of arcane sword...though now that i'm home and can check my copy, his damage seems very high for a CR 28 (he can get to nearly 300 dpr when you include legendary actions!).
