I think I have a winner. A newbie player of mine named her first PC (a cleric of the Dragon Above):
Glove (My Dove).
Full name, not a nickname. Yes, she's a huge Beatlemanic, but that is no excuse. So far, nothing short of killing that PC is going to change that name though (she is adamant).
Runner up is my other new player, whose fighter's name is Nedlt Thorne.
