Behold the mighty... Tim Ram! (and other stupid names)

So, Tarmin was born.

Totally off topic but there was an old Intellivision D&D game called Treasures of Tarmin. :)

yes, I'm that old.

Back on topic, a guy I gamed with a couple years ago decided to roll up a halfling rogue and named him Gotcher Vwallit (got yer wallet)

IThis very much amused some of the other players at the table. In particular, Craig. He started a joke of always getting Tarmin's name wrong - using other anagrams of Martin. In particular, "Tinram", "Timran", or, miscounting the letters, "Timram".

I wouldn't be able to not make the joke - 'Tim Tam the fighter' ?

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam for those who don't recognise the name)

during my misspent youth I had a Barbarian named Hakyn Slazh
(and I've used the name Hakyn more than once since)

I wonder why I keep misreading Tim Ram as Tin Ram... and it stirs visions of tin elementals in the form of rams jumping over fences ...

A friend of mine ran a "drop-in" Saturday morning game at the local comic store awhile ago, and I'd play the NPC cleric when I stopped by. Someone started calling for "medi-vac" whenever they needed the cleric, and thus Amedi Vak was born.

I also intentionally named my archmage character "Toad".

A longtime friend named his first character Chip.

Yeah, he was a monk.

Yeah, the DM killed him quickly.

\I was the DM.

Did the same thing with my very first monk character, decades ago. Also had a ranger named Rodo-roodeh and an arch-villain wizard named Shazbot. Pitiful.
