Hey there!

I'm a published DM with 8 years of experience running dangerous, long-term campaigns, and I'm in the process of making an awkward transition to Bellingham, WA in September of this year. Needless to say, I'd love to either set up a game or join an existing one (I haven't sat on the "other" side of the DM table for eons...). My own style is a fine mesh of heavy role-playing, intricate and convoluted plotlines, and plenty of good old fashioned hack n' slash.

EDIT: Thought I'd mention real quick that Bellingham isn't very far outside of Vancouver -- I'm used to driving to games, and this would only be a short jaunt for me.

There's a guy from Bellingham that occasionally posts on these boards as Dreamchaser. I have no idea what his situation is but it might be worth emailing him to see if he's interested or knows anyone who is. I think it's the same guy who runs this kick ass campaign website http://www.sulerin.com/, although the email addresses don't match up so I'm not sure. But if not, he's another one that it might be worth emailing. I emailed him randomly a while back to ask him how he made his campaign maps and he was very helpful, and seemed like a really nice guy.

As an aside, do you know if there are any good game stores in the area that I should check out. I live in Boston but I'll be going to visit my brother in Anacortes in a few weeks and am always up for checking out cool stores.

As for Vancouver, there are plenty of people on these boards from there. Teflon Billy comes to mind.
