Bend Spell combos?

Maybe an 11 pound Darkwood Masterwork Tower shield? Or mithrl would also be 11 pounds, and better for spell failure.

As for other bend spell combos, I'm not really sure. Maybe use the mount spell to create a horse to hide behind? Other than that, the only real "combo" is getting cover for yourself and none for the other guy.

Piratecat: It's ALL about style, sirrah. ;)

James: Well, the real point of Bend Spell is cover no longer does
a thing for the other guy...so let him take the tower shield,
I'll still give him the ol' sonic-punch-in-the-head! I ended up taking
web as a second level spell, just so I can goop my enemies
up, and then fling some orbs, etc, without worrying about the
strands getting in the way.

Another funky thing I found: is if I summon a creature to help me
out in combat, it can be directly in front of me , protecting me, and
I won't have to worry about hitting him with my magic...

Still brainstorming here... :)

Ingredients: Wall of Force and Fly (Or Poor Man's Fly: Jump).

In an open field, you can target them with spells, you get cover, and when they run around the Wall, you just fly (or jump over it)

In a dungeon, you make the Wall fill up the dungeon hallway except for a small gap near the ceiling where you can bend the spell.

Besides that, do they make Animated Tower Shields? :)

An animated tower shield?...that's just pure madness... :)

Wall spells could be fun...hrm... :D

I had a thought...don't the Bigby's hands grant some weird
cover restriction? Muhaha... :)

(I love this game.)

You could get a bag of holding, or a portable hole. . . and a magically enhanced steel tub, or barrel with 1, 2 inch hole in the side of it. Thie outside of the tub would have a perm. invis, or some type of shifting illusion on it, so it & you can't be seen. The inside of the tub would not be enchanted so you could always find it with ease, proving it doesn't get flipped over. Hide inside & fire away, nice and covert-like, full cover for you & a 50% miss chance for them. When you're not using it just store it away in your bag or hole.

Tower shield, pfst! ha! If you're gonna do it, do it right.

(yes I know this sounds stupid. . .)
