Besides fantasy, what genre would you like to roleplay in?

Obviously fantasy is a very popular setting for RPGs. What I'm curious about is what genre everyone would like to play in besides fantasy.

It doesn't matter whether you've played in it before, or are currently doing it. It doesn't matter whether it has ever been done (or at least done well). If you want to roleplay in the school textbook genre, more power to you (good luck ;) ).

Try to be specific. 60's style espionage is a better answer than just "modern day."

In no particular order of preference:
Victorian Era Steampunk
1930s or 1940s Pulp Hero (anything from Sam Spade to Indiana Jones to The Shadow)
1960s or 1970s Cold War "Super Spy" Espionage
Four Color Superheroes (1970s era)
Post Apocalypse Fantasy/Sci Fi (aka Thundarr the Barbarian)
Post WWIII
Space Opera style Sci Fi

If I could play in all of them that would keep me busy gaming for YEARS!

My three favorite genres are ones that I rarely get to play in via tabletop, unless I'm the one running it OR I cajole the DM. ;)

1st - Superhero setting - I'm a huge junky for Mutants & Masterminds, but I've played in only one game since it came out (under First Edition). However, I have ran it several times, mostly one-shot campaigns (such as Rant and Rave).

2nd - Contemporary fantasy/sci-fi, think Dark*Matter, Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, Call of Cthulhu, Spycraft, or GURPS Illuminati. Also, I'd be heavily remiss if I did not mention Shadowrun, although that is Near Future Sci-Fantasy/Cyberpunk. I rarely get to play this, however thanks to Falkus d20 Dark*Matter campaign, I'm getting my fill just fine. :D

3rd - Far Future/Space Opera/Space Adventure, which basically means Traveler, Star Wars, Star*Drive and my guilty pleasure of Star Frontiers. All of which are cool, yet different, but fun none the less. I've never, as of yet, played a pure Star*Drive game, I've ran a traveler one and played in a couple of Star Wars ones (both d20 and WEG), and I cut my sci-fi teeth as a kidlet on Star Frontiers (Drasalite grenadier Bob ROCKS!).

Anyhow, I'd love to be playing in any campaign like the genres above, with the exception of Arcana Evolved and Ptolus, I prefer the above to fantasy RPGs. ;)

Hard Science Fiction
Wild West/Science Fiction twist
Wild West Steamtech
Gothic Victorian
An RPG based off of Charmed
WWII campaign/scenarios
Civil War campaign/scenarios
RPG based off of Harry Turtledove's Guns of the South works
Non-Cthulhu Modern Horror

Space Opera, 30's-40's style.
Space 1889 style, but with a different rules system.
A 30's-50's Sci-Fi Movie Serial style game.
A good Super Hero game.
A good Post Apocolypse with Mutant Heroes game.

I'd like a good sci-fi exploration game. d20 Modern is a good game as well. I also miss superhero play, and Mutants and Masterminds is a great game.
