Besides fantasy, what genre would you like to roleplay in?

Science Fantasy (à la Star Wars)
Horror (à la Call of Cthulhu)

Edit: Now that I think of it, I've always liked sci fi much more than fantasy. Unfortunately, sci fi is splintered into many tiny subgenres, and the comparably small number of people playing sci fi are scattered across lots of more or less obscure games. I have to admit that I'm part of the problem, too. I'm probably too picky.

Modern Horror (e.g. Delta Green/CoC)
1920s-1930s Horror (e.g. Call of Cthulhu)
Victorian Horror (e.g. Cthulhu by Gaslight)
Superhero, Silver Age (e.g. Mutants & Masterminds)
Post-Apocalyptic (e.g. The Morrow Project)
Wild West (e.g. Boot Hill)
Space Opera (e.g. Star Wars)

(Been looking at Savage Worlds for some of this...)

"Realistic" superheroes game (The Authority, Planetary, Wildcats v3.0 etc)

WWII gritty combat/strategy campaign

Call of Cthulhu in any time period

A Wild West game of any type

Right now? Anything but FRPGs. Don't get me wrong- I love 'em, and if the only game available is an FRPG, I'm in!- but except for a 6 month flirtation with RIFTS (in which some players did not participate) my current game group has been D&D only for the past 10 years.

Genres I've enjoyed in the past:

Superheroes- 4-color, Noir, and others (HERO, Aberrant, Underworld, ACE (unpublished), would love to play some M&M or Godlike)

Hard Sci-Fi (Traveler (original and others), HERO, Universe, Alternity, Gamma World (original))

Space Opera (Prime Directive (original), Star Wars (various), bought but haven't played Spaceship Zero)

Vernian/Wellsian sci-fi (Space 1889, HERO, Amazing Engine, bought but haven't played Etherscope)

Anime Robot Pilots (Mekton, MechWarrior & others)

Martial Arts (HERO, GURPS)

Sci-Fantasy (ShadowRun, RIFTS)

Modern Fantasy (WoD 1Ed, GURPS V:tG playtest, would love to run or play Urban Arcana or Dark Matter)

Comedic Sci-fi (Paranoia (all versions))

Horror (Call of Cthulhu, Beyond the Supernatural, HERO)

Western (Boot Hill (original))

Western Fantasy (bought but haven't played Deadlands)

Spies (HERO, bought but haven't played Spycraft)

...and all kinds of fusions of the above...

Wild West - I'm on a cowboy kick lately, and the group wants to get a game based mostly off "Tombstone" and "The Good, the bad, and the Ugly". I just bought Mongoose's OGL Wild West, and it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. We're playing in a mini campaign as soon as we finish episode 4 of STAP.

Bughunters - from the d20 Future book. I really wanna play a clone who fights giant unintelligent aliens. It's my life purpose, really.

Post-Apoc - I'm a total nut for the genre. I'm putting together a post-apoc campaign for when STAP finishes up. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Semi-Fantasy - I wanna run in a game that's set in the middle ages/dark ages/roman times/whatever that still has a bit of fantasy, but is mostly just gritty. Like Pendragon, maybe, but without the Arthurian crap.

I kind of wanna run a game set during the Vietnam war. I have an outline set up, but it involves some CoC elements.

I also want to run a modern game set in a war zone, where the player characters are not combat-related at all, but are instead journalists. One Player would be the "reporter", another one or two would be camera men, there'd be a guide responsible for dealing with the locals and translating, and a "company man" who is responsible for financing things and dealing with "the network". Don't know what genre that would be...

A hardcore Cyberpunk game would be great.

Also, I really, REALLY want to get in on one of those 20+ player games of ROBOTECH that Hellhound has talked about a few times.

I've played almost nothing but D&D since 3.0 came out, so any genre other than fantasy would make for a nice change of pace. I'm partial to sci-fi/fantasy (Star Wars is a favorite, can't wait for Saga!), cyberpunk, and anime mecha roleplaying (Mekton, Jovian Chronicles). Personal horror (Vampire, et al.) is fun if done correctly. I've never played steampunk but I would like to try it.

I'd like a good sci-fi exploration game. d20 Modern is a good game as well. I also miss superhero play, and Mutants and Masterminds is a great game.

One of my favorite things about Traveler, be it original or d20, is the whole Scout/Exploitation/Mercantile arcs and style of play.

Something about hitting a planet, seeing what's there and then opening trade routes, or just running for your lives, which just rocked!
