Besides fantasy, what genre would you like to roleplay in?

Another vote for Victorian Steampunk.

Some sort of Wuxia (Dragonfist...I'm looking at you!)

Wild West meets Wuxia with a dash of Sergio Leone...does that have a name? I may have been imagining this, but I think Gareth of Adamant Entertainment suggested a game like this once. I think it's an awesome idea!!!

In no particular order of preference:

Bronze Age magical fantasy.
Victorian steampunk.
Present-day modern fantasy - the real world, but with magic, vampires, etc.
Space-traveling sci-fi with lots of aliens and a slightly gritty atmosphere, similar to Firefly or Farscape.
Futuristic superheroes.
1930s superheroes.
Victorian superheroes.
1930s pulp heroes.
Wuxia adventures.
Star Wars.
Four-color superheroes with a good balance of action and roleplaying. I'm already involved in a supers campaign, but it's very combat-heavy and light on roleplaying.
High-magic fantasy using Fantasy Hero rules.
RuneQuest. Preferably the old rules since I'm already familiar with them, but the new rules would work too.
Stargate SG-1 - had an aborted campaign and I still miss it.

Just this morning, I was thinking how cool it would be to do a police procedural RPG, something like Homicide: Life on the Street or Law and Order. You know, a game where a PC might only use their gun once in an entire campaign, and it would be a huge event.
Hey, they've done a soap opera RPG (All My Children, IIRC), so this would be child's play.

In fact, I think Robin Laws GUMSHOE system might be a decent place to start, from what I've heard of it.

Modern Action Horror ala The Mummy, Van Helsing or the TV show Supernatural is a favorite of mine.

Science Fiction: Star Wars, or near future "hard science" being two particular favorites.

Cthulhoid Horror.

Swashbuckling action ala Pirates of the Caribean, Captain Blood, etc.

I've been pining for a good superhero campaign ever since Mutants & Masterminds came out.

Maybe this distinction is too fine, and this is just fantasy to most of you, but I really like an old-fashioned Wierd Tale that combines elements of Pulp Action with science fiction, horror and fantasy all blended together.

I don't know; for me, it's what genre don't I enjoy playing in? I could probably even enjoy a well-done Jane Austen RPG for that matter. But in general, if it's got action or horror, then anything else is just gravy.

I did some work towards a Jane Austen RPG a few years back: the five character attributes were Pride, Prejudice, Sense, Sensibility and Persuasion.
