Oh, I had so much fun with the Jester. I commissioned the Paddle Ball of Vexation. On a successful attack it did one point of damage, but the target was -2 to AC. Range of 20 ft. Then, we found a wand of wonder and hilarity ensued.

The Time Lord class was pretty fun, too, but I think that came from Different Worlds.

I forgot about the Jester! The first reoccurring BBEG I ever had in a D&D was an evil Jester. Man, the players HATED that guy.

Was that a Dr. Who D&D class?
Not really, but it was probably inspired by Dr. Who.

The class was structured to fight as cleric, armor, weapons, and saves as thief, and some power point fueled powers that increased with level. There was about 4 powers or so per level, changing the flow of time or looking through it. I probably have a tattered yellow photocopy in a folder somewhere. I never got to the level of hyperaging (disintegrate), but used haste, slow, see the past (localized divination). I forget what the 1st level abilities were...

He was "the Wanderer", follow the tradition of the Doctor and the Master.

Huh, just scanned through the SW magazine contents list and it isn't there. Discovered just how many articles I used from the first 12 issues, however. Maybe it was from White Dwarf?
