For me, the distinction between wizard and sorcerer would come from whether or not the power was based on learning lore or innate (or, I suppose granted by a patron for warlock). If it seems like the arcane caster is more based on study or structured learning, I'd go with wizard.
For example, Balthazar is definitely a wizard.

Isn't there a difference between a humanoid with sorcerous heritage, and a celestial, elemental, or demonic being with innate magic?
It shouldn't?
Edit: and even if there was a difference, some creatures are so much humanoid-like that it doesn't make sense to make a difference?

So, is Jeanie a djinn who is also a sorcerer, or are her powers innate to all djinn in the setting?
idk my point is a sorcerer is someone who already has innate ability, I don't think it's necessary to dive into the lore of I Dream of Jeannie or make that sort of distinction for the sake of this poll since she's a humanoid who uses magic at will.
