D&D 5E Best out of combat class features?

I'm trying to come up with a new out of combat ability for a home-brewed class and it's friggin' hard! Everything is just spell casting or a bonus to skill... and that's not even taking into account keeping it consistent with the fluff...

Ahh, that makes sense. Well, start from the fiction. What do you want a character with this ability to be able to do?

My storm sorceress used the Gust cantrip for this, until eventually she used her downtime to craft it into her clothes and made them all clothes of billowing.

That's the thing, I felt like I already had everything I'd want the base class to do so I was looking for inspirations. But I do think I found a thing or two that would work!

You can also do it with prestidigitation, thaumaturgy, or gust.
