D&D 5E Best Virtual Table for 5E?

Anyone playing 5E on a virtual table? What do you recommend? Anything you've tried and not liked? Do any of the many options have anything that makes them particularly well suited to 5E?

I'm a big fan of roll20, particularly the paid version. I ran Lost Mine of Phandelver on there, and it was great. There's an excellent 5e auto-generating character sheet, and dynamic lighting is a killer feature.

I use roll20 for my 5E campaign and it works great. I would certainly recommend trying it. Unfortunately, I have not used any other virtual tabletops and cannot give you comparisons.

I've used Maptools plus Google Hangout as a virtual tabletop. It's quite usable. But one of the players who regularly uses Roll20 for another game complains about features missing from Maptools he has in Roll20, so that sounds like it may be better.

I do most all my gaming on Roll20. Run two 5e games, and play in two each week.

The fact it is free, if you want to spend extra for the nice features as a DM you can, but player's never have to is a big plus.
Dynamic lighting, character sheets, built in voice and video chat, tons of good things about it.

I hope once there is some form of OGL we will see people selling adventures for 5e in the marketplace there.

That's a good point that I forgot to mention in my earlier post. ONLY the DM needs to pay if you want the extra features (like dynamic lighting or fog of war). It's always free for players. It CAN be free for DMs, too, if you don't mind missing the extra features.

There are hundreds of videos on YouTube going over just about every feature of roll20, so you can see what you'd be getting yourself into. ;)

I just use google hangouts & associated bits & bobs. I play with old friends so we roll real dice honestly - the apps were more hassle. It makes TOTM a must of course.
