Fury fills Eithal at a curious revelation. Cale is just not dying. Perhaps if she kills the statue, Cale will die, "Aaaaaaayeeeeee!"

Clank!

A huge chunk of stone chips off of the statue.

Still quite a bit more to go it seems.[sblock=Actions]Minor: Form of the Relentless Panther

Sudden Roots: Whenever Eithal hits an enemy with an Opportunity Attack, that enemy is slowed until the end of its next turn.

Crushing Earthstrength: When Eithal uses her second wind, she gains a +4 bonus to her weapon damage rolls until the end of her next turn.

Guard of Stone: While Eithal is under the effect of her stone’s endurance racial power, each enemy marked by Eithal takes an additional penalty to attack rolls for attacks that don’t include Eithal as a target. The penalty equals her Constitution modifier and lasts until the end of her next turn.

Courage of the Lone Stag: When you mark three or more enemies with Nature’s Wrath, you gain a +2 bonus to weapon damage rolls against creatures you mark until the start of your next turn. This bonus increases to +3 at 11th level, and to +4 at 21st level.[/sblock]

OOC: note that penalties stack, and since the avatar is still marked by me his attack would have been at -7..nat 1 tho, so it really didn't matter--unless that -5 stays around for a while :)

That leaves the other crystal.. Fredrock says as he runs across the room to the other crystal

Yishim's illusions convince Livia that she's struck by an arrow, and as she flails about attempting to dislodge it, she falls from the ledge.

GM: Took forever to find them:

Lesser Radiant Orb: Power(Consumable - Radiant): Standard Action. Make an attack. Area burst 1 within 10, +10 vs Reflex; on a hit deal 1d8 radiant damage; on a miss deal half damage.

I think Scarm's HP should be 18. I'll fix it next round.

The nearest statue's eyes glow and tendrils of black energy shoot from one side of Livia's body to the other, pulling it back together. She smiles with black teeth and rasps something in a blasphemous language.

GM: Despite that massive pile of damage, she Rerises and is prone in her square.

[sblock=Tactics]I think we need to destroy the statues first. It seems that unless we do that, Cale and Livia will continue to rerise.[/sblock]

OOC: Kaz spends a surge to gain 22 hp.

Sprout pounces on Livia as she lies prone. When his bite connects, a spray of clear blue water erupts from the wound and showers onto Kaz. The liquid evaporates almost immediately upon hitting him, but it as refreshing a dip as he could ever have. He finds his injuries healed once again.

Toeto, who has moved beside a pillar near Yishim, now waves her totem at Sprout to dismiss him. The basilisk groans in annoyance - his undead enemy is almost finished off! Regardless, he quickly fades from view as he departs the physical world.

[sblock=Toeto stats / actions]Actions
Move: Toeto walks to Q12 (taking cover by a pillar), and Sprout moves to L8.

Standard: Spring Renewal Strike vs Livia hits? Fort 22 for 15 damage. If it hits (and I assume it does), Kaz spends a surge to gain 22 hp (surge + 9).
I know attacking Livia while the statue is still up is kind of futile, but the healing part of this attack only works if it hits. The statue has a high fort, versus Livia who (I assume) has a low fort and is prone to boot.

Minor: dismiss Sprout.

Toeto - Female Lizardfolk Shaman 4

Certain Threat, Healing Spirit x2, Lizardfolk Recovery, Speak with Spirits, Spring Renewal Strike
Hungry Spirits Totem, Protective Roots, Spirit of the Healing Flood

Notes
Any ally adjacent to Toeto's spirit companion regains +3 additional hit points when he or she uses second wind or when Toeto uses a healing power on him or her.
Boon: When Toeto summons Sprout, enemies adjacent to her take 1 radiant damage and allies adjacent to Sprout gain 1 THP.

[sblock=Spirit Companion notes]The spirit companion is treated as a conjuration with some exceptions.
  • It occupies 1 square like an ally does.
  • It is only affected by melee or ranged attacks (not close/area attacks or zones).
  • It is dispersed if it takes 12 or more damage from a single blow, and Toeto takes 7 damage. It is otherwise unaffected by attacks. It uses Toeto's defenses.
  • It cannot be flanked and it does not grant flanking.
  • The companion can move 5 squares whenever Toeto takes a move action. It is not affected by difficult terrain.

[sblock=ooc]I was hoping to destroy the statues before the crystals on the off chance that the avatar comes to her senses when the statues are gone (not to mention the ever-rising Cale and Livia), but the statues seem to be quite hard to destroy.

By the way, does the rerising happen instantly when the statue's guardian "dies," or does it happen on the statue's "turn"? Can the guardian rerise multiple times per round?[/sblock]

GM: Their Rerise is a free action and can happen as many times as they die.
