Is it just me, or is the human mind's nature really just to moan and groan? Now sometimes these are just haters or people against the 'cool' things. Othertimes it's continuity whores. Sometimes it's those who just can't let something go.

Yeah, I went to the movies today. Saw X Men 2. Figured it'd be empty with most people going to see the Matrix Reloaded. Was dead right.

Anyway, get to hear all the complaints about how it doesn't stick with the comics. Duh, it's a movie.

Then during the Hulk preview, all the whining about the 'crappy' CGI. Either get over it and enjoy the movie, or sit back and watch the 'good' old Hulk television shows.

There are some legitimate complaints out there, but man, people just love to give themselves high-five for 'sticking' it to the man.

Ah well, useless gripe of my own I supose.

You're preaching to the chior, buddy. I'm a very forgiving audience in most cases and tend to derive much more enjoyment from things because of it.

I digress.

I am just as guilty as the next guy about complaining about movies and the like. However, I try to stay objective and truly want to be entertained by every form of media I view or experience. I'll admit that there are problems with X2 and Reloaded but they were FUN flicks. Same goes for the other "big movies" from the last year or so like Star Wars and LotR.

I don't see the point of routing for a movie to be bad. Why bother? If you truly weren't entertained then so be it...

Personally, I think this is going to be one helluva hear for movies. I can't wait to see the rest of it.

Aye. I know a lot of people who seem to get more enjoyment out of complaining about a movie than they do watching it. Me personally? I tend to just sit back and enjoy the ride. I'm not saying I don't sometime complain about movies, but it's not my past time like some.

Of course I'm cursed with knowing someone who will focus on the smallest thing obsess over and decry the entire movie/game/what have you as being crap, and I never hear the end of it.

Bitching about something decent is one thing but you can't polish a turd. Besides, that movie is a good target for pent up hate and aggression.

So, those of us who enjoyed the movie are turd-lovers? And yes, I did enjoy the movie and have it on DVD. Could it have been better? yes. Could it have been worse? oh yes. Should it have been renamed? probably.
