Black Spine, Red Blood: A Dark Sun 3.5 Campaign

Hmmm I like the spike stones... That will require some thought.

Tossing a few Planar Allies at them will work well in conjunction with Dominated Saboteurs. However using saboteurs shall require more information concerning the relationships between the camps. Thus more recon and mind probing than we have done so far. It is also the weakest component of the plan. Multiple will saves are a pain.

My plan consists of the following (so far):

A) Recon through Mind Probe, Scry, possibly even Directly.
B) Establish defensive works for the village.
C) Sabotage the suppliy lines and supplies of the Gith. Hopefully have some blame fall upon each other.
D) Eliminate Raiding Parties. By preying upon them whilst Sabotaging hopefully we can destabilize whatever is holding them together allowing...
E) Assault the remaining Tribe(s), drive them back to where ever.

Any thoughts?

Got bored and so was looking through the Druid spell list to see what sorts of area effect spells Ritsu can use...I came up with:

1st Level
Entangle
Obscuring Mist

2nd Level
Flaming Sphere
Chill/Heat Metal
Warp Wood

3rd Level
Call Lightning
Sleet Storm
Wind Wall

4th Level
Ice Storm
Spike Stones
Giant Vermin

5th Level
Call Lightning Storm
Insect Plague
Wall of Fire
Wall of Thorns

6th Level
Antilife Shell
Move Earth
Repel Wood
Wall of Stone
Mass stat buff spells, cure light wounds

Paxus,

Under additional options for posting just click on the "manage attachments" button to bring up a list of file spaces for you to attach things. It only accepts some common file types so you need to export/save the AutoREALM map as a .jpg (cuz that will be the most compressed) and then add it to the list of attachments.

If that doesn't work you can try a free image hosting site, such as www.picgoo.com, but they only accept jpg gifs or png files of up to 250KB in size. If the map is bigger than that you can get crazy and set up a free website account like tripod, since they have a larger file limit, and just upload the picture to there and give us a link to it.

If all else fails email it to me and I'll toss it onto my ISPs free webhosting, I've got I think 10megs I can play with.

I hope this works:

EDIT: Eh, not so well, but should be good enough for broad drawing. I'll see what I can do before we need it for actual combat.

Looks good for a topographical. What are the elevations 10', 5', 20'?

Also what is the white 'top' on the big dune? Just a 'typo' or is it something 'special'?

10 feet, and that it just a typo. Only the rectangular temple and attached stables are structures.

Whenever the rest of the party votes on whether to help the village we can plan defenses...or plan on how to retreat if we would rather just leave them to their fate. I think we'll have a lot more fun if we stick around, but I'll go with what the majority wants.

Garak will spend some time wandering around, talking to the villagers, looking over their fields and tents and so on. He'll be looking for signs of poor farming practises, any indication that slaves are kept here, signs of brutal punishments or bloodsports, defiling ash, and so on.

If Tenpug's village appears to be a sturdy community - healthy and concerned for the common good - Garak will feel obliged to stay and help, regardless of the details of payment. In the desert, his life was saved through the mercy of a stranger. The earth spirits demand he offer no less to others.
