Blessed weapons

I'm not certain that I like adding more increments to the weapon bonus stacks. +0 (although it really looks like +1/2) bonusses seem like they'd add a new level of complexity to an already complex system.
Yeah, I agree. But it was an interesting enough hack that I just had to. :D

One idea that might be worthwhile would be combining your "lesser energy" enhancements with blessed. So you would have a +1 "blessed frost" longsword dealing 1d8+1+(1d4 cold) damage for the cost of a +2 weapon. That way, you'd avoid adding a new increment to the system.
Not a bad idea. Add the restriction : "+0 bonus qualities must always occur in pairs."

BTW: The lesser flame, lesser shock, etc abilities look a bit powerful for +1/2 since a character could have a +1 lesser flame, lesser shock weapon for the same cost as a +1 flaming weapon but gain 2d4 rather than 1d6 points of damage. They would probably be better if they did 1d3 points of damage rather than 1d4.
You did catch that they only activate on Criticals, rather than all successful hits, yes? And unlike the burst weapons (which operate similiarly) they don't increase with the value of the crit multiplier. So a +0 Lesser Frost Battleaxe does 1d8+Str normally, and ((1d8+Str)*3)+1d4 on a crit.

The blessed billiard cue of "Dogma", the film comes to my mind ... :D

God, I love that movie :D

Why not make it a magical quality like masterwork? (a weapon can be considered "Blessed" if it has undergone a ritual in a good church costing a total of 500gp. and this ability does not add to or decrease the magical enhancements of the weapon)

Or better yet, just make a higher level Bless Weapon spell with a much longer duration. I don't know.. like 3 levels higher with a duration in months per level.
