Blood & Fists: Cool!

Ah, yes, I had noticed the reference to Wae Gum when I read about Kendo, and didn't think about it when I started to create a character trained in Tae Kwon Do.

Well- thanks for spotting it anyway- it shouldnt have been in any of the feat listings :)

Ummm- sorry about that guys- I have no idea what happened there :)

About the animal styles, all the animal styles in the book are generic, since there are animal variations of a number of styles.

Monkey variations are found in virtually all chinese and japanese martial arts, including Drunken Master (which is itself a variant of several chinese arts).

So I decided to seperate Monkey, and Panther from other styles, giving the styles fighting qualities reminiscent of their animals, and then you could combine them with another art, so you could take monkey and drunken master, or monkey and karate, or cobra and kung-fu.

For cat, I wanted a stealthy defensive style- so if you were trained in, say leopard or tiger, but wanted to concentrate more on a cat's grace and stealth than power- you'd take cat.

Good Stuff!

Just picked up B&F the other day, I gotta say Nice Work!
It reminds me alot of the old Palladium Ninjas & Superspies supplement (in a good way). I will definately be using B&F with my upcoming d20 Modern Campaign. A most excellent resource for d20 Modern.
Kudos,
Brutorz Bill

p.s. What other products/goodies do you have planned for d20 Modern?

Thanks :)

I have a few out now- ennie-nominated Blood and Relics, Blood and Guts, and War on Terror.

I am currently working on a d20 modern version of Vigilance, my superhero game.

So that's next for Modern :)

I could definately use B&R and B&G with my Campaign, are they available in print yet?
A d20 Modern version of Vigilance! Now that sounds cool!
Any idea when that one might be out?
Thanks for the info,
Brutorz Bill

Blood and Relics is in print- but I believe you can only get it online at this time. The rpgobjects website will give you all the details on that.

Blood and Guts is at the printer right now and will soon be winging its way to FLGS all over the world :)

Blood and Vigilance is about 90% done- we have a product in line ahead of it (Modern Backdrops by Carrie Baize), but it should be out shortly :)

I've just read Gamewyrds review on ENworld, and I'm convinced that this is something I'm looking for. My only remaining decision is whether to go for bits or atoms version. The atoms version is available locally, but works out about twice as expensive after money conversions.

Decisions, decisions!

Sounds like good work Chuck

Thanks for the kudos :)

As for the price... *ouch*... I'll make a call to the President and try and do something about the exhange rate (he's not returning my calls these days though).

Well, the Prez hasn't managed to do anything about it yet!

I decided to go for the print copy and found that my FLGS hasn't got it yet... but having made that decision I've decided to stick it out and see if it comes in next Thursday.

Fingers crossed!
