Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

Qualidar or Yttrai, where is the nearest Greyhound bus station to your place and how do you get there? The website doesn't mention one in Medford. Scholar may need to leave right after the games, and AO and I are planning to be in Boston for a couple days.
The bus terminal in Boston is right next to the Red Line South Station T stop (we call the subway the T here). The closest T stop to us is Davis Square, which is also on the Red Line. If you ended up staying at the LaQuinta in Medford, you're right next to the Wellington Orange Line stop, which he could take as well (He'd just have to transfer over to the Red Line). The web site for the T is www.mbta.com.

Thanks, Qualidar. I'll relay the info. Oh, and we're staying at the Amerisuites.

As for scholar, as long as he gets to blow things up, he's not picky about his game.

Game sign up

My wife (put her down as techbint - she's not on this forum though) would like to play:

AM - Overkitty's All Flesh Must Be Eaten: Retail Zombies
PM - Qualidor's D20 future game

Stay tuned for a site launch for my Red Star game later today

We'll probably bring something TBD for breakfast/lunch due to a variety of dietary constraints.

Red Star Background and Characters

Ooh! Ooh!

Curse you, Nasrat! You made it hard to choose!

I know I want to be either Vasiliij or the Zek. I just can't decide which is cooler!

Great background, too. Nothing like a military setting to assemble an "instant party". ;)

Looking forward to it!

Intro and Character options for the 7th Sea game!

The Sea Star was four days out of Avalon, sailing west around the edge of Montaigne when she was caught by a storm. Captain Morgan was a seasoned sailor and his crew skilled. Together they weathered the storm for two days. The Sea Star was a stout vessel, and while utterly off course the ship was still in sailing shape. At long last the sky began to lighten. Suddenly, as the ship crested a wave, and prepared to race down it’s side, another ship emerged from the storm. It came up fast, black sails and a black pirate flag flying, and from its course helmed by a madman. Over the crash of the waves came the blast of cannons. Timbers burst, masts fell and the Sea Star tumbled to her doom. A few members of the passengers and crew clung to the wreckage while the storm blew away. As dawn rose over clear skies and calm seas the exhausted survivors found themselves being carried by the current towards land. The last thing the survivor saw ere they washed ashore on this island was the tall mast of a ship pulling into a small cove. A mast flying a black flag.

After lying peacefully on the Sands for an unknown period of time you feel your strength returning. You set up taking stock of what you can salvage from the wreckage and who else survived.

The survivors may include:
An Eisen Priest, of the new (and according to some, heretical, Objectionist faith);
A Swordsman from Castillian, clearly a member of one of dueling societies;
A Montaigue Swordsman, from the famed Valroux fencing school;
A member of the Explorer’s Guild, famed for risking life and limb for ancient treasure;
The ship’s cook, a large and dangerous looking person from the wilds of Vesten;
An unusually small person from Ussura, the gunner’s mate;
One of the topsmen, a quick and nimble person who works high on the ship’s rigging;
And the ship’s first mate, a well spoken, educated fellow from Vodacce.

If my player’s would send their first and second preferences to me via Email, I’ll try to get character sheets to folks this week. Character sex can be either male or female, if you have a preference, let me know. (email is username with 3 extra o's at yahoo.com)
If you aren’t familiar with 7th sea:
Eisen = Germany just after 30 yrs war
Castille = Spain during 16th century
Montaigue = France under Louis 14th
Ussura = Russia under Ivan the terrible
Vodacce = Venice
Vesten = Vikings/Norse
Avalon = England, after the sinking of the ‘castillian armada’
If you are – No sorcerous characters, too much for unfamiliar folks to learn. Castille and Montaigue, and Montaigue and Ussura are not yet at war. Although that may change within the year. The rest of history, setting, canon, etc – irrelevant for a one shot about ship wrecked survivors and pirates! :cool:

Yeah, definitely cool. I really like the pics. I don't know much about the setting but I'm already getting a feel for it.

As far as characters go, the hailer sounds cool but I'll take anybody with a gun and a bad attitude. :cool:

A note regarding lunch plans and possible dietary restrictions:

All of our top ordering choices have pretty good salad choices, and since we're near Tufts there are even places with much better real vegetarian options. Vegan is probably pushing it, but veggie is no problem. We can order from more than one place, depending on the level of interest.

And of course, welcome back Nasrat and Techbint! (Please god tell me she chose that name herself! Or you'll be sleeping on the kerb for a while!)

Retail Zombies

The setting: Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY. One of the top three largest malls in the Northeast and one of the top ten largest malls in the United States.

You'll see them in full on Saturday, but here is a little more info for the pregens for Retail Zombies.

You've got two character types in All Flesh; Survivors and Norms. Survivors have higher attributes, more qualities, and more skills than Norms. That doesn't mean playing a Norm isn't fun, just that they have to be a little bit more creative in how they reduce the zombies into goo.

The pregens:
James the Coffee Beanery Barista (Survivor) - Barista by day, gamer by night.
Amanda Susan Hayes the Usher (Survivor) - Lazy Engineering student.
Jay the Mallrat (Survivor) - DDR king and mall lover.
Enid the Gothy Verizon Kiosk Saleswoman (Norm) - Angsty unrequited love of the Barista.
Britteny the Hooters Waitress (Norm) - Former cheerleader, now drama major.
Manny the Dairy Queen Lifer Manager (Norm) - Has the power to lord over the Dairy Queen part timers.
Hunter the Mall Security Guard (Norm) - Keeper of Law and driver of golf cart.

Thanks!!

The biggest issue (I'm veggie which I've not found to be a problem here) is that Techbint (yes it's a self chosen nick) is intolerant of gluten. We'll figure something out though.
