I honestly never noticed it. I've read over it several times.

If it is there, it isn't prominant. No rules for raping or anything like that.

That said, it is a great book.

I can't say I read anything like that either. No one gets any kind of powers because of it. It might be identified as what makes a character evil, but who could argue that?

What kind of rules could there be for rape anyway? Sure it deals considerable psycological damage, but there is no mechanic to represent that in D&D anyway, even if you did for some reason want to put in into your campaign. It would be reflected only in role-playing that NPC/PC.

The closest we got in my campaign was when the characters defeated an evil wizard, they found a woman, naked and bruised, tied up in his bed. They healed and freed her, and continued their quest. There was no reason to go into greater detail than that.

edit: it hadn't occured to me that they might get "powers." That certainly wouldn't happen IMC.

It's not even mentioned in the 'Evil Acts' section.

In the 'fetishes and addictions' section there is a paragraph about rape under 'psychopathy' and how it is about dominance and power rather than sex. There is a one-sentence mention later that "Fiends are willing to seduce or rape virtually any creature."

Under 'vile races', one race has no taboos against rape and incest.

Past that, there's really not anything. No feats that involve rape (although there is one that involves necrophilia), no spells that involve rape, no hentai-anime tentacle monsters.

This post is probably longer than the actual content regarding rape in the book. If you're worried about it glorifying rape or giving people bonuses, don't - the mention in the book is pretty clinical and about as vile as this thread.

If you want rules for that, check out the FATAL game system; it has rules for nearly everything, but you might want to skip the critical hit tables; they are rather graphic.

If you want a d20 mechanic, I think it would involve a grapple and pinning against an unwilling target (and when is she ever willing?).
